Day Reporting
Referrals for Day Reporting may be made by the Indiana Department of Child Services. To be considered for Day Reporting, a referral must meet the DCS service standard of being on long-term school suspension or have a current history of suspension or expulsion. If accepted, a student may need to engage in credit recovery or attend Gibault's accredited school. Depending on the length of time a student spends at Gibault daily, they may be included in the residential psychoeducational and independent living skills treatment groups that occur in the living units. Counseling services with a master's level licensed or license-eligible clinician may be requested by DCS through the KidTraks system in accordance with the procedure identified by Indiana DCS.
