Since 1921, Gibault has provided life-changing opportunities for children, adults, families and communities. Over the past 100 plus years we have changed physically and programmatically to accommodate the needs of at-risk youth. From the original Smith Mansion, Gibault has grown to become a beautiful 360-acre campus. Gibault has expanded services from treating only “wayward boys” to providing a variety of residential and community-based treatment services to all genders, children, families, and members of the community.

Founded over 70 years ago as Hoosier Boys’ Town, Campagna Academy remains as a mission-centered, vision-inspired, “for-impact” organization that still believes the world can be changed one child at a time. Father Campagna believed that boys are like flowers and that if provided with the proper home, love, and care that they would grow and thrive. This ideology is what inspired the merger with Gibault Children’s Services in early 2023. The Campagna campus continues their mission of restoring hope and building dreams by providing residential treatment services to all genders, children, families, and members of the community.
