Autism Spectrum Behavioral Learning Environment
Gibault's ABLE program offers comprehensive services within a multidisciplinary approach to youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The program follows an ecological model that focuses on issues occurring within the home, school and community. The ABLE program focuses on teaching social, coping and adaptive living skills to youth so they can have optimal functioning in a community setting.
Family or youth's primary support system are an integral part of the ABLE program. Family engagement is strongly encouraged through engaging phone calls, sending mail, participating in therapeutic day passes and home visits, participating in treatment team meetings, engaging in family therapy, attending the annual Education Open House, attending Family Day and engaging in the annual ABLE Walk.
