Gibault's THGH provides the client an opportunity to move from a structured residential setting into a community environment.
The group home is designed for clients who have shown significant advancement in their treatment and are in need of a less restrictive environment. The group home offers clients more privileges and personal freedom to pursue their social and educational interests. The clients are also offered the opportunity to seed out employment.
Clients involved in the group home may have the opportunity to attend local public schools. If they do not attend public school the kids served will Gibault Inc accredited main school program on the Terre Haute Man Campus. Continuing education programs are available for clients who have obtained their high school diploma or GED.
A client in the program receives home visits/passes more frequently or longer in duration. Clients have daily access to public telephones and are encouraged to call family members on a regular basis.
The THGH is utilized as a step down program and can be referred to Gibault Inc directly.
