GRANT AWARDS 2018/2019

Gibault is pleased to announce a grant award in the amount of $5000 from the Wabash Valley Community Foundation.  The funding will be used for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for local police officers and first responders.  Gibault has partnered with Indiana State University, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Hamilton Center, Regional Hospital, Mental Health America, Indiana State University Police Department, and the Terre Haute Police Department to form a CIT Team.  With the help of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, the CIT Team will be able to train more police officers and first responders in dealing with citizens experiencing a mental health crisis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gibault is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from The Bemis Foundation in the amount of $500.00.  The funding will be used for the purchase of curriculum enrichment material and teaching aids for Holy Cross School.  Thank you Bemis for investing in the future of our children at Gibault.

 

 

 

Gibault is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the John W. Anderson Foundation in the amount of $3,000.00.  The grant award will be used to assist in providing social support in the Lake and Porter County communities.  The funding will specifically provide intensive post discharge services for the children and families served by our After Care Program.  Thank you John W. Anderson Foundation for investing in the future of our children and families at Gibault.

 

Gibault is pleased to announce that we received a grant award from the Frederick R. Benson Trust administered by First Financial Bank in the amount of $1,500.  The funding will be to be used for clothing and personal hygiene items for the children.  Thank you the Frederick R. Benson Trust for your continued support of the programs and services at Gibault.

 

Gibault is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Vectren Foundation in the amount of $3,000.00.  The funding will be used for the purchase of computers, software, and printers for the Independent Living Program to assist students in obtaining a higher education.  Thank you Vectren for investing in the future of our children at Gibault.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gibault Care is pleased to announce that McGivney Health Care Center has been awarded a grant in the amount of $34,910 by the Central Indiana Community Foundation Senior Fund.  The funds will be used to purchase medical and therapy equipment for the residents at McGivney in Carmel, Indiana.  Thank you CICF Senior Fund for investing in our programs and facility.

 

 

 

 

 

Gibault is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from Answers for Autism in the amount of $3,000.00.  The funding will be used for the purchase of iPads, technology, and sensory equipment for the Autism Behavior Learning Environment Program to assist children on the autism spectrum.  Thank you Answers for Autism for investing in the future of our children at Gibault.

 

 

 

 

 

First Financial Bank Trust Department awarded a little over $100,000 to 57 charities in the community.  Gibault is pleased to announce that we were awarded a grant from the Frederick R.
