Relay For Life Stamp

A message from Pam Chamberlain pam.chamberlain@gibault.org
Gibault Children's Services wants you to become apart of their team for American Cancer Society's RELAY FOR LIFE campaign. Relay for Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. We are looking for team members to walk or run during this 24 hour overnight event. When and where is this great event taking place? See below:

Rose-Hulman Institute
Sports & Recreation Center

May 2-3, 2008
5:00 pm to 6:00 am

Registration is $10.00 and can be done online at http://events.cancer.org/rflvigocoin
or pay cash or check through Gibault's Team Captain, Pam Chamberlain (me). I am in the Corporate Office building on the Terre Haute Campus at Gibault. You can email me with questions at pam.chamberlain@gibault.org or call me at 812-298-3125.

You do not have to be present for the whole relay, you are just asked to walk/run for 1-2 hour shifts if possible. I will be there for the whole event to support you!

This is a personal mission for me. You see, when wrapping up the Daffodil Days campaign for the American Cancer Society, I was shocked to learn that my own mother was just diagnosed with uterine and breast cancer all within the same week. It is a very rapidly growing cancer and we are hopeful in finding a cure fast!

I personally know a lot of cancer survivors and some could even be sitting right next to you at this moment. Gibault is proud to be a part of the Relay for Life event and would love to see everyone out to support this great cause. If you can not become a team member, I will be collecting donations as well.

I will be sending more info as it comes. Please contact me ASAP if you would like to become a team member. God bless and thanks for your support,

Pam Chamberlain
